Read and Discuss Scripture
Psalm 133:1-3
How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity! It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron’s beard, down on the collar of his robe. It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For there the LORD bestows his blessing, even life forevermore.
Question
What does living in unity attract from God?
Answer
True unity comes down from above, poured down upon Aaron’s head, falling on Mt Zion. When we choose to live in unity that brings protection, provision, joy, life, the anointing. Ps 133:3 His blessings last forever.
Leader
If time allows discuss the next scripture or jump to the next text in conclusion and applications.
Read and discuss Scripture
Ephesians 4:14 -16
Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
Questions
In regard to unity and relationships.
What does it look like when we behave as infants?
What does it look like when we behave as mature believers?
Answer -Encourage discussion. There will be many great answers.

Conclusion and Application
Colossians 3:12 – 14
Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
Answer
We must be intentional as Gods people; Choose to put on Christ’s character. Choose to flow in love.
Discuss each characteristic below that we are to be clothed in.
Question
What does each characteristic look like? (Leader encourage positive conversations. Remember we are all to put on love. It starts with you and I.)
To help answer each of the six characteristics you can draw parallels with the life of Jesus.
Compassion
A strong feeling of sympathy and sadness for the suffering or bad luck of others and a wish to help them.
Kindness
The quality of being generous, helpful, and caring about other people, or an act showing this quality.
Humility
The feeling or attitude that you have no special importance that makes you better than others; lack of pride.
Gentleness
The quality of being calm, kind, or soft
Patience
The ability to accept delay, suffering, or annoyance without complaining or becoming angry.
Put on Love
Biblical love is different than the definition of love the world has.
Biblical - Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonour others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
Leaders Notes
Ps 133:1-3 Focuses on unity and joy it brings. This is a "song of ascent," sung while families travelled to Jerusalem for one of the feasts. Chapter Summary. Unity is the theme of this psalm. David affirms that the unity of the people of Israel was good and pleasant. To live in unity is to be devoted, like Acts 2:42 tells us, devoted to the act of communing with others and breaking bread together. This gives us a picture of what dwelling in unity looks like, a mutual devotion to the uplift of the community, sharing meals, and praying together
